MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT Unlike many motorcoach companies, Travel Tours operates its own Maintenance Department. Our staff is comprised of licensed and skilled mechanics who know our fleet from bumper-to-bumper, inside and out. Keeping our fleet at optimum operation is tantamount to providing you with a safe and reliable travel experience. Travel Tours has one of the highest quality maintenance programs around as graded by the Department of Defense and Department of Transportation. Our staff takes pride in maintaining our coaches, taking a preventive course of action to minimize mechanical breakdowns and delays. The maintenance of our coaches is not just the responsibility of our Mechanics, but also by our Drivers. Our Drivers are trained to complete a vehicle inspection each time they drive a coach, including a pre-trip and post-trip inspection. In conjunction with our Maintenance Department, this helps to ensure that the coaches are maintained in optimum running condition and that any problems are caught as early as possible.
